The first track I ever heard from Beltram was
not "Energy Flash", but the Human Resource "Dominator" remix. Remember
that track? I would rap the refrain from it over and over until I
annoyed even myself. But I have mad
respect for Beltram. After all the dust settled from the gazillion
hoover bass remixes he did in the early 90's (Lords of Acid, Altern8, Smart
E's, etc.), he really developed a mature sound. I think this EP, a
curious release for Warp, was where he turned the corner. |
